I close my eyes
And see jewels looking back at me:
A bright glow for eternity,
That can shine through the darkness.
When I open my eyes,
The jewels seem to vanish:
Only appearing occasionally,
Yet they are distant.
I swing for chandeliers:
Crashing to the ground,
As I miss my space
Next to the jewels.
And I try again,
With many attempts to come.
